Robin Is On The Roof

Robin once again prepares to ascend to her nest. She flies to her rooftop at 9AM on May 31 this year. She plans to remain until she raises 75,000 pounds of food for local food banks. Please plan to come out with food to support Robin in her quest. You can also donate cash, $1 = 5lbs of food. Click on Donate to go to her PayPal location.

Well, a wonderful night to end a wonderful day. I had the privilege to meet several new people who are helping me to reach my goal.
Thanks to all; going to sleep now to the sounds of the Kennedale racetrack, a few trains and an occasional distant shriek of a peacock. God bless all who have donated today; spread the word.

Well, really sitting on the First United Methodist Roof in Kennedale until she collects 100,000 pounds of food for the area food banks! She is up to 2164 so far!!! You can click the “Donate” tab on this page, remember every $ = 5 Pounds of Food!

This just in! Robin is off the roof!! A big thanks go out to Dr. Cravens & Dr. Ward of the Center for Neurological Disorders for hitting the 50,000 lb goal AND thank you to the Executive team of Plaza Medical Center for pushing us OVER!! After 75 hours on a hot Texas roof, Robin’s final count = 52,138!!!

Dear God, Please open the hearts of those who are unsure of this cause. Help them to see that Robin has gone through alot to reach the 44,925 pound mark. Help them to open their cabinet, as well as their wallet, to assist in finishing off this project. There are a lot of hungry people out there and this food will help our local food banks during the Summer months. Bless those who have already donated. Bring joy and love to all who are involved. I must admit to something.. I want Robin off of the Roof tonight! as of 5pm today her pound total is at 44,154 pounds we need $1200.00 or roughly 5846 pounds of food brought to the Church hall before game time. Help us find the right people to make this happen!!

Let’s me speak frankly, If Robin was a a Thanksgiving turkey she would be definately done. I know alot of people, but I can honestly say that Robin is one dedicated Lady. The food weight is at 37,092 pounds. Please keep those donations flowing in the sooner we reach 50,000 pounds the sooner the buzzards will quit circling Robin.

Our food totals are now up to 34,237 pounds. Spread the Word. As we get closer to our goal of 50,000, it reminds me of why we give and volunteer for events such as this one. Some of us do it because we care about our fellow man. Others do it because of a family member or friend who has left us here on earth who had the desire to serve and give. Whatever reason motivates you, fall deep into your inner heart space and find the reason to give. The desire to do right for everyone is within all of us, we simply need to search.
